"Ten lashes", he ordered in a controlled voice.
"But I..."
"No!" he exploded, "I don't care how much of a hero you think you are! You disobeyed me knowingly and willingly! There is no excuse for that!"
Disappointment caught up with the anger before he added:
"Fifteen lashes."
